Signs From Above

Last week, I made this blog public! To say it was a big step is an understatement. It has been weighing on my heart to share (for 8 months) and if I keep waiting and ignoring the signs to share, then I might never, ever feel ready to share. I felt the tug in my heart and gave in.

A few months after I wrote my first post, I was asked to lead a Women’s Retreat. The director of this retreat is chosen by a group of core members who pray over the women’s names and then pick one out. The date and retreat center were already reserved and it took place this past weekend, on Feb 6-9, 2020. It was a huge blessing! The retreatants were beautiful, glowing and growing all weekend. If you have never been on an ACTS retreat, I promise it will make your heart and faith grow and you will have a huge community of sisterS and brothers in Christ.

The team of 30 amazing women needed to have 13 weeks of formation meetings to prepare. The theme for the retreat is taken from the Sunday gospel reading of the retreat weekend. After giving my humbled and anxious “yes,” I looked up the readings for the retreat weekend and there it was…..”Salt and Light.” I had named my page the same months before. And the first picture I posted was the exact same as our theme from Matthew 5, “Let Your Light Shine.”

The parish community has continued to be a blessing. Before my surgery, they collected letters, blankets, books, gift cards for my hospital stay and one card in particular helped me make a connection to a scary time in my life when my daughter was born. It was a lovely painting by an incredible women (who I asked to be a Co-Director) that she titled “Guardian Angel.” I had received a photo on my phone, in my camera roll of the Virgin Mary holding Baby Jesus. When and how it appeared is still a mystery, but the date on it is even more compelling. It was clear that my “guardian angel” was there during my hospitalizations. I couldn’t help but wonder if this was what my guardian angel looked like. Both times I experienced a loss of consciousness and simultaneously a rosary breaking apart.

We had a community of friends and family praying in 2012 when my daughter was born 5 weeks early. She was not growing, I started contracting when I was 5 months pregnant, was having weekly progesterone shots and was placed on bed rest. I ended up being hospitalized with pre-eclampsia and when she had almost stopped growing completely, it was time to induce. When the anesthesiologist was in the room to start an epidural, everything went white. Our heart rates were not regulating and I was soon being rushed into surgery for a C-section. Katie was born weighing 3lbs 13 ounces. She thrived in the NICU against the doctor’s prediction, but they still ran tests on her to find something wrong. To the doctor’s surprise, they found nothing wrong and could not explain why she was not growing. We believe in the power of prayer and knew she would be fine. She was home with us two weeks later.

The image below appeared on my phone around her birth in June of 2012 and then again on the hospital TV after my spinal cord surgery in December of 2018. This time it had a message at the bottom that read “This was all for you.” A second rosary I had at the hospital had broken apart that day, too. To me, it felt like I had just closed my eyes and dozed off. As my husband started telling me what he witnessed earlier that day, the nurses running in, unable to wake me, etc…we began to look at the rosary and made the connection to 2012. I glanced at the TV while we were unraveling the mystery and pointed for my husband to look. There was the image of the Virgin Mary from my daughter’s birth.

On my phone, the year appears as 7070 when you open the image. When I started looking at the significance of the number, I’m still humbled and have a feeling of being unworthy of the meaning of it all. I don’t see myself as any of these descriptions, but am in tune to listening to the messages from Above, accepting the challenge and looking at growing with the signs.

“Angel Number 7070 signifies that you are a spiritual person who is in sync with his or her higher purpose in this life and the life to come. People look at you, and they see hope. They look at you and see positivism. You are a guide to many due to the wisdom that you possess.”

“Angel numerology is based on a belief that we can bring spiritual energy into our system by connecting to the Angels, and we can do that with the understanding their messages/numerical sequences.”

“Angels are the symbol of the Divine, and their energy cleanses the channel to our heart, burning everything that is not ours and not supporting us.”

“They are doing the opposite, Angelical beings are supporting us and giving us only things that we can use in our lives, everything that is positive and has a creational force.”

“With more spiritual energy (after we accept Angels and the Source and its wisdom) in our system, we will begin to notice what is often unavailable to external feelings; our intuition will intensify, and sometimes from time to time we will witness small miracles, situations in which our thoughts will materialize almost instantaneously.”

“Today we will speak of the message with the numerical code 7070, and just by looking at it; you can see that it is one very special message that is relevant for your personal growth.”

7070 Angel Number- What does it mean?

“Human beings are often confused by our own journey, and we ask why we have had to go through certain painful experiences, we all know deep inside that nothing is accidental and that everything that has happened to us or is happening to us makes a lot of sense.”

“And here comes the message number 7070 to help you understand what kind of a change you will experience in your life; this is the spiritual dimension of polarized experiences, we often have to first experience separation from the Divine in order to reconnect with Him.”
